Connect the EV CAN Harness: Plug the EV CAN Harness into the designated CAN-Bus port on your electric vehicle's control system.
Connect the Gauge: Connect the other end of the EV CAN Harness to the corresponding connector on the back of the Speedhut Dual EV Gauge.
Utilize the Jumper Harness (if needed): If you are connecting multiple CAN-Bus devices, use the EV CAN Jumper Harness to create a daisy-chain connection.
Connect Power and Lighting: Attach the 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to the power and ground sources in your vehicle, as well as to the gauge's power and lighting connectors. This harness will also power the LED illumination of the gauge.
Mount the Gauge: Insert the 4-inch gauge into a 3.93-inch (100mm) diameter opening in your dashboard or instrument panel. Secure it using the appropriate mounting hardware (typically a spin-lock ring).
Verify Operation: Once all connections are made, power on your vehicle. The gauge should illuminate and display the real-time power and motor temperature readings. The warning light will illuminate if any critical thresholds are exceeded.
