Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 3 3/8 inch (84mm) diameter opening in your vehicle's dashboard. Secure the speedometer using the included gauge mounting ring and spin-lock mechanism.
Connect Power: Connect the red wire from the provided 3 ft Power & Lighting Harness to a 12V DC power source in your vehicle. Connect the black wire to a suitable ground. Refer to your vehicle's wiring diagram if needed.
Mount the GPS Antenna: Choose a location for the GPS antenna that offers a clear, unobstructed view of the sky. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and secure. The antenna is waterproof, allowing for flexible placement.
Connect the GPS Antenna: Connect the male SMA connector on the 9.8 ft cable of the GPS antenna to the corresponding connector on the back of the speedometer.
Optional Remote Button: If the gauge face and quad buttons will be difficult to access once installed, consider requesting a remote button from Speedhut for easier control of any potential features or settings.
Operation: Once power is supplied and the GPS antenna has acquired a satellite signal, the speedometer will begin displaying your vehicle's speed in kilometers per hour. No further calibration is typically required.
