Prepare the Hose: Identify the damaged section of your 3/4" hose. Using a sharp utility knife or hose cutter, carefully cut out the damaged portion, ensuring clean, straight ends.

Slide on Clamps: For each cut end of the hose, slide one of the included stainless steel worm clamps over the hose, positioning it a few inches back from the cut end.

Insert Mender: Firmly push one end of the brass coupling mender into one of the hose ends. Twist and push until the hose fully covers the barbed section of the mender. Repeat this process for the other hose end with the remaining side of the mender.

Secure Clamps: Position each worm clamp over the hose where it overlaps the barbed section of the brass mender.

Tighten Clamps: Using a screwdriver (usually a flathead or Phillips, depending on the clamp type), tighten the screws on both worm clamps until they are snug and the hose is firmly gripped onto the mender. Do not overtighten.

Test for Leaks: Turn on the water supply to the repaired hose and check for any leaks around the mended area. If leaks occur, gently tighten the clamps further.
