Mount the Gauge: Locate a suitable 3.93-inch (100mm) diameter opening in your vehicle's dashboard. Insert the gauge into the opening and secure it using the spin-lock ring.
Connect Power and Ground: Connect the red wire from the included power and lighting harness to a 12V positive power source in your vehicle. Connect the black wire to a reliable ground.
Connect Fuel Level Sender (if applicable): Connect the appropriate wire from your vehicle's fuel level sender to the designated wire on the gauge's wiring harness. Refer to the Speedhut wiring diagram for specific connections.
Mount the GPS Antenna: Choose a location on your vehicle's exterior (or interior with a clear view of the sky) for the waterproof GPS antenna. Secure it in place and route the 9.8 ft cable to the back of the gauge, connecting the male SMA connector.
Initial Power-Up: Once all connections are made, turn on your vehicle's ignition. The gauge will power up and the GPS speedometer will acquire satellite signal (typically within a few seconds).
Fuel Level Calibration (if needed): If the fuel level reading is not accurate, you may need to calibrate the gauge to your specific fuel level sender. Refer to the Speedhut instructions for the calibration procedure.
