Polyvance Pbt Welding Rod, 1/8" Round, 1 Lb., Black (Approx. 174 Sticks Per Pack) (R11-01-04-BK)
PBT is the abbreviation for "Polybutylene Terephthalate". PBT is not used very often in automotive applications, but when it is used, it is often used in sensors housings, tail light housings, some trim pieces, side marker light housings, headlight bezels, distributor caps and other applications where you need excellent electrical insulating properties, chemical resistance, and heat resistance. Occasionally, you will see PBT used for door handles, bumpers, and carburetor components. This package contains approximately 174 ft. (53 m) of black PBT plastic welding rod. Each rod is 12 inches (30 cm) long and 1/8 inch (3 mm) in diameter.
Works with airless, hot-air, and nitrogen plastic welders.
Rod diameter fits perfectly into the standard welding tip of Polyvance's Mini-Weld Airless Plastic Welder.
