Mayhew 6-Pieces Hi-Vis Orange Long Slotted & Phillips Set (27021LTHVO)
The Mayhew 6-Pieces Hi-Vis Orange Long Slotted & Phillips Set (27021LTHVO) offers a comprehensive collection of essential screwdrivers designed for a wide range of fastening and unfastening tasks. Each tool in this US-made set features an ergonomic acetate tri-lobular handle, engineered for maximum strength and efficient torque transfer, allowing for secure gripping and comfortable use over extended periods. The high-visibility orange color of the handles ensures they are easy to spot in any toolbox or work environment, reducing time spent searching for tools. All blades are crafted from tempered high-alloy steels and undergo a custom heat-treat and temper process, providing an optimal blend of hardness and strength for long-lasting performance. The tips are precision CNC machined to industry specifications with tight tolerances, ensuring secure and reliable engagement with fasteners, which helps prevent stripping and damage to both the fastener and the tool.

High Alloy Steel Blades: Tempered for strength and durability, capable of withstanding repeated use without bending or wearing out.
Precision CNC Machined Tips: Deliver exact fit to fasteners, reducing the risk of stripping and increasing fastening accuracy.
Custom Heat-Treat and Temper Process: Optimizes blade hardness and flexibility, enhancing performance and tool longevity.
Manufactured in the USA: Reflects commitment to high-quality standards and reliable tool craftsmanship.
Included in Set: 6-piece screwdriver set
Common Sizes: Slotted: 1/8", 3/16", 1/4"; Phillips: #0, #1, #2 (standard expected configuration)
Standards Exceeded: ANSI, ASME, GGG, ISO
Included in Purchase: Custom molded tray designed to fit inside tool drawers
Select the Correct Screwdriver: Identify the type of fastener (slotted or Phillips) and choose the corresponding screwdriver from the set. Ensure the tip size matches the fastener head to prevent cam-out or damage.
Position the Tip: Place the screwdriver tip firmly into the head of the screw, ensuring a snug fit.
Apply Pressure and Rotate: Apply steady, downward pressure on the handle while rotating the screwdriver clockwise to tighten or counter-clockwise to loosen the screw. Use the ribbed neck of the handle for finer fingertip control if needed.
Complete the Task: Continue rotating until the screw is fully tightened or loosened as required. Avoid over-tightening, which can strip the screw head or damage the material.
