Opening the Knife: Hold the knife firmly. Place your index finger on the flipper tab located on the spine near the pivot, or use your thumb on one of the ambidextrous thumb studs. Apply light pressure to the flipper or stud to engage the SpeedSafe assisted opening mechanism, which will rapidly deploy the blade into the open and locked position.
Using for Cutting: Once the blade is fully open and locked, hold the handle comfortably. Apply gentle, controlled pressure to the cutting edge, guiding the blade through the material you wish to cut. Its thin profile is ideal for slicing and precise tasks.
Closing the Knife: With a firm grip on the handle, locate the liner lock mechanism inside the handle. Use your thumb to push the liner lock bar to the side, disengaging it from the base of the blade. Carefully fold the blade back into the handle using your other hand, ensuring your fingers are clear of the blade's path.
Engaging Tip-Lock: After closing the knife, slide the small Tip-Lock mechanism located near the pivot point on the spine of the handle. This will secure the blade in its closed position, preventing accidental opening during carry or storage.
Pocket Carry: Use the reversible pocketclip to securely attach the knife to your pocket, belt, or gear for convenient and safe everyday carry. Adjust the clip position as desired.
