Hold the handle firmly and place your index finger on the flipper tab near the pivot. Apply quick downward pressure. The SpeedSafe mechanism will engage, opening the blade until the frame lock secures it.
Alternatively, use the thumb studs by pushing outward and upward with your thumb to deploy the blade.
