Great Day Load-A-Pup Platform Adapter Kit (LP500PA)
The Great Day Load-A-Pup Platform Adapter Kit (LP500PA) is a specialized accessory designed to expand the compatibility of the Great Day Load-A-Pup pet loading platform (Model LP500) for boats. This adapter kit enables the Load-A-Pup platform to be securely mounted on boat ladders that measure between 16 and 24 inches in width. It provides a stable and reliable connection, ensuring that your canine companion can safely and easily embark or disembark your boat without assistance. Crafted with attention to pet safety and owner convenience, the LP500PA kit integrates seamlessly with the existing Load-A-Pup platform, making it an indispensable addition for boat owners with wider boarding ladders.
KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
Broadened Ladder Compatibility: Specifically designed to fit boat ladders ranging from 16 to 24 inches wide, significantly expanding the range of boats the Load-A-Pup platform can be used with.
Secure Platform Attachment: Ensures a firm and stable connection for the Load-A-Pup platform to your boat's ladder, providing a reliable surface for your dog.
Enhanced Pet Accessibility: Facilitates independent entry and exit for your dog, reducing the need for manual lifting and making boating more enjoyable for both pet and owner.
Integration with Load-A-Pup System: Works in conjunction with the Great Day Load-A-Pup (LP500) platform, which is known for its lightweight aluminum construction, 200 lbs weight capacity, and non-slip surface.
Simplified Installation: Designed for a straightforward attachment process, allowing for quick setup and removal of the pet platform when needed.
Compatible Ladder Width: 16 inches to 24 inches
Included in Product When Purchased: Adapter components, necessary bolts, and washers for attachment. (Note: The Load-A-Pup platform (LP500) itself, along with its security straps, is sold separately.)
Attach Adapter to Platform: Align the adapter kit components with the designated attachment points on your Load-A-Pup (LP500) platform. Use the provided bolts and washers to securely fasten the adapter to the platform. Ensure all connections are tightened appropriately for stability.
Position Platform on Ladder: Carefully place the assembled Load-A-Pup platform, now equipped with the adapter kit, onto your boat's boarding ladder. The adapter's design will allow it to hook onto the ladder rungs or frame, accommodating widths between 16 and 24 inches.
Secure with Straps: Utilize the security straps that come with your Load-A-Pup (LP500) platform. Loop them around suitable points on your boat's ladder or hull and through the designated points on the platform to cinch it tightly against the ladder. This prevents movement and ensures the platform remains stable while in use.
Verify Stability: Before your dog uses the platform, gently test its stability by applying some pressure. Ensure there is no significant wobbling or slippage. Adjust the straps as necessary to achieve a firm and secure setup.
Fold and Store (When Not In Use): When you are finished using the platform, it can be easily unhooked and folded flat. The lightweight nature of the Load-A-Pup platform, along with the adapter, allows for compact storage.
