Start Your Vehicle: Turn the ignition key to the ON or ACC position, or start the vehicle. The monitor will remain off in this state.
Engage Reverse: Shift the transmission into Reverse (R).
Automatic Activation: The reverse trigger wire senses power from the reverse light circuit, powering on the monitor and displaying the camera feed.
Check Parking Assist Lines: Use the on-screen guidelines (if enabled) to gauge distance and alignment while reversing.
Disengage Reverse: Shift out of Reverse to deactivate the backup view.
Use Secondary Input (Optional): If another video source is connected to AV1, use the monitor’s button to switch manually when not in reverse.
