Mount the Speedometer: Insert the speedometer into a 4.20-inch (107mm) diameter hole in your dashboard or instrument panel. Secure it using the spin-lock ring from the back.
Initial Power-Up: Turn on your vehicle's ignition. The speedometer should illuminate.
Calibration Drive: Drive your vehicle a precisely measured mile (you can use GPS or roadside mile markers for accuracy).
Enter Programming Mode: While driving the measured mile, locate the programming button (refer to the Speedhut instructions specific to this model for its exact location and activation method). Press and hold the programming button until the gauge enters calibration mode.
Calibration Completion: Once the measured mile is complete, release the programming button. The speedometer is now calibrated to your vehicle's speed sensor, gear ratio, and tire size.
