Hi-Tech Industries 6" Interior Carpet & Upholstery Brush (280)
The Hi-Tech Industries 6" Interior Carpet & Upholstery Brush (280) is a focused cleaning tool specifically engineered for the rigorous demands of automotive interior detailing and general household carpet and upholstery maintenance. This compact yet powerful brush is designed to effectively agitate and lift dirt, debris, and grime from fabric surfaces, preparing them for extraction and leaving a cleaner, fresher finish.
KEY FEATURES AND BENEFITS:
Targeted Cleaning Capability: Effectively removes embedded dirt, dust, and light stains from vehicle carpets, floor mats, and various upholstery types, including cloth and durable leather.
Optimal Bristle Design: The 1.37-inch crimped polypropylene bristles provide excellent scrubbing power, agitating contaminants within fabric fibers without causing damage when used appropriately.
Enhanced Reach: "Extreme bristle flare" allows the brush to access and clean tight corners, crevices, and other challenging areas within an automotive interior that larger tools might miss.
Comfortable Handling: Set in a sturdy foam block, the brush offers a secure and comfortable grip, facilitating controlled scrubbing and reducing hand strain during cleaning tasks.
Compact Size: At 6 inches in overall length, its manageable size allows for precise control and easy storage, making it a convenient addition to any cleaning kit.
Versatile Application: While ideal for car interiors, its design also lends itself to cleaning household carpets, rugs, and furniture upholstery.
Overall Length: 6 inches
Bristle Length: 1.37 inches
Bristle Material: Polypropylene
Bristle Color: Cream
Block Material: Foam
Included: One (1) Hi-Tech Industries 6" Interior Carpet & Upholstery Brush (Model 280)
Preparation: Begin by thoroughly vacuuming the carpet or upholstery area you intend to clean. This removes loose dirt, dust, and debris, preventing them from being ground deeper into the fabric during the scrubbing process.
Apply Cleaner: Lightly mist or apply your chosen carpet and upholstery cleaning solution directly onto the soiled area. Follow the cleaning solution's instructions for dwell time and dilution ratios.
Agitate Surface: Hold the Hi-Tech Industries brush firmly by the foam block. Using moderate pressure, scrub the treated area in a back-and-forth and side-to-side motion. The crimped bristles will penetrate the fabric fibers, effectively loosening embedded dirt and stains. Pay extra attention to heavily soiled spots and use the bristle flare to reach into seams and tight areas.
Remove Residue: After scrubbing, use a clean, dry, absorbent microfiber towel to blot the treated area, pressing down to soak up the cleaning solution and lifted dirt. For deeper cleaning, follow with a wet/dry vacuum or an extractor to remove remaining moisture and cleaning agents.
Allow to Dry: Ensure the cleaned area is allowed to air dry completely with good ventilation. Avoid sitting on or disturbing the damp surface until it is fully dry to prevent re-soiling or mildew.
